Recent events

“My Mom & Dad are doing everything they can to take care of me, making sure I have what I need to heal and get back to being the super dog I know I am. With a lot of love (and maybe a few pup cups), I’m working hard every day to get stronger.”

Rugie was recently diagnosed with two herniated discs in his spine, causing (hopefully temporary) paralysis in his back legs.

He’s resting, healing, and still dreaming of his zoomies. We’re doing everything we can to give him the best chance at recovery, but his care comes with big challenges — from medical bills to special equipment that will help him regain his independence.
